About

Welcome to my blog! My name is Jenn Rodriguez.

Jenn Rodriguez

I grew up watching my mom quilt. I did a little sewing growing up, but became addicted about 10 years ago when my oldest son was born. I took a quilting class to have some “me” time and that was that.

I am a wanna-be modern quilter, who loves making beautiful, practical quilts, bags, and other home dec items.

I sew on a Janome Memory Craft 7700 and Pfaff Hobby 1040.

If you want to check out some of my published patterns:

  • Mosaic, Modern Quilts Unlimited, Spring 2014
  • Modern Quilts Unlimited’s 2014 Fresh Ideas! Block Challenge
  • Skeptical, Modern Quilts Unlimited, Issue 18
  • Twirling Geese, Cirrus Solids BOM, March 2015
  • Feathered, Modern Patchwork, March/April 2017

  1. Hi Jenn! I found your blog from the Craft Industry Alliance forums and your profile there. Did you get your business started? Also, I am in the same country you are in (as seen on your profile on the cia forum)! 🙂

    • Hi! Glad you found me! I’m a little disappointed that we can’t meet up -I recently moved back to the US. I’m still slowly starting my business. Trying to define my own success at my pace 🙂

  2. Hi Jen,
Just made your “men of distinction “block from QDAD. I can send you a picture and I also have a couple of small comments about the pattern. Contact me via email or friend me on FB?
I noticed on your blog you want to learn some Adobe programs. I just finished a class in illustrator through our local junior college and was able to do it online. It’s pretty fun 🙂
